Unless you have light adjusting glasses, you will need two pairs of riding glasses. A tinted set for daytime riding and a clear or amber set for night. Even if you do not plan on being out after dark, having a good pair of clear riding glasses on hand can be a life saver. Here we are going to take a look at our top pick for a cheap pair of clear riding glasses.

Bobster Foamerz 2 Clear Riding Glasses

Best Cheap Pair of Riding Glasses
Clear Riding Glasses

Bobster makes a whole line of affordable motorcycle riding glasses. There are many glasses in their lineup that we can not recommend, as they do not meet the impact standards set by ANSI or CE/EN. The Bobster Foamerz 2 do meet this level of protection and are ANSI Z87.1-2015 Certified.

Though, these are a cheaper pair of protective eyewear, they do offer what we are looking for in a good cheap pair of glasses. They have a wraparound frame, which can provide lateral protection for your eyes and they are offer 100% UVA and UVB protection. The lenses also have an Anti-Fog Coating. With that being said, glasses that offer this coating can still fog in certain circumstances.

The Bobster Foamerz 2 have a closed-cell foam attached to the inside of the rim of the glasses. The foam shield adds protection from dust and debris that might come in from behind the glasses. The foam allows for ventilation to reduce fog and provides cushioning to make the glasses more comfortable. Closed-cell foam does not absorb moisture like an open-cell foam. This is very important if you get caught in the rain or sweat on a hot summer's night. The Bobster Foamerz 2 do come with a microfiber carrying pouch to store the glasses in. I use mine to clean the glasses also.

The Bobster Foamerz 2 is a great pair of clear glasses to just throw in your saddle bag for that just in case situation or to use as your primary night riding glasses. Yes, there are better options out there that are more expensive and there are cheaper options available, but for the money, you can't got wrong with the Bobsters.
